Again: post and sale!

A week ago I was posting about my new strategy of posting about all the sales and uploads I was making here at Dreamstime. I had noticed that an image which had been sold and which was commented on one of my blogs had been sold again after a few days. Today the same happened with an uploaded photo: after less than 5 days and only 3 views the photo below was sold after I had made a post with a bunch of other pics, coincidence?we will see!  continue reading

Wildlife of Lithuania

On 2013 I made a trip to Lithuania where my friend Boris Belchev (who is also here at Dreamstime) was my guide. The wildlife, specially the birds of this baltic country is quite rich and interesting and I enjoyed taking numerous photos.Sales however have been rather scarce compared to other destinations, specially the exotic and tropical ones.Today at least there was again a sale of this male Wigeon duck which was enjoying a bath in one of the channels of the city of Kaunas.  continue reading

What’s up with a Musky with a Duck in its Mouth?

One beautiful summer day, I was walking around the band shell on Lake Harriett which is just south of Minneapolis. Product review

I recently picked up a light tent for small product photography andwanted to share my initial tests. The one I purchased was theDynaphos DPL-005L 24x24 LightCube. It packs really small and comes with 4 different backdrops (Black, White, Red and Blue). Please note that you cannot use these backdrops once you unpack it.The backdrops have so many creases in them which makes them impossible to use as-is.I had to use my steamer to iron out the very stubborn folds. This isthe only... continue reading

The Ugly Duckling

The past two weeks have been so busy! Sheesh! Between running from photo shoot to photo shoot, taking care of my girls and all the insanity that follows, I feel like I'm running in circles! And just when I thought things couldn't get any more crazy we have adopted a Mallard duckling. Yes, I know. I must be insane or a glutton for punishment. Maybe both! Butters (my 5 year old named him/her) has been with us for 2 weeks after getting separated from his mom and siblings. It's been hard to not get attached... continue reading

Funny birds

That is the funniest bird I found on DT by searching ‘birds isolated’ keywords, and it shocked me that this is a photo, of course it probably have been modified in some graphic program, this bird have pilot goggle on head and compass, there are not usual equipment of sea-gull. Maybe postal doves but not gull. That is the tip for Titelio to do such one.Anyway this funny gull had inspirited me to search some others and this was next that shocked me by the simple expression. Cute little duck... continue reading
