Thank you for the opportunity to announce that my work Young Women On Meadow Sunset recognized as the editor's choice. It is good to know that the hard work and time I'm putting on my illustrations is appreciated. I'm honored, flattered and humbled. I also like to share my previous work that earned Editor's Choice which I didn't bloged about. Castle In The Night is also result of a hard work - its actually fourth version of the same matte painting study after lots of trial and error... continue reading

I was happy to see on Dreamstime's home page Editor's Choice section one of my photos from UEFA Champions League semi-final between Manchester City and Real Madrid. It feels kind of rewarding, even if I didn't get any money for it. But maybe the sales will grow. One question though. I remember reading that you get some money for every photo that makes it to the Editor's Choice section. Obviously, as I said before, that didn't happen. What you know about this? Thanks for your time to... continue reading
Some months ago I visited the hides of Natura Prop in northern Catalonia.A recently opened hide offered passerine birds in a beginning success story.Goldfinches were plenty around and the clever idea of sticking several thistle plants (cardus) whose seeds are the favourites of these birds caused not only their prompt appearance but also added a satisfactory environment, more typical impossible "Goldfinch on Thistle plant", nearly kitsch! The good thing is that a nice Dreamstime Editor chose... continue reading

Uploading photos, we have to remember that we do it for somebody. Cause any stock is like a great market where you sell and someone can buy images. So your idea should be clear to anybody - in Africa, Aisia, elswhere. So when uploading photos I imagine an editor of a magazine who needs some pictures. And having in mind that imaginary editor, I ask myself "If I had to pick pictures on some topic, what would be interesting for me?" continue reading
What does it take to have the honor of having your image on the front page, the home page of DT, of being the featured contributor?I thought that as a contributor, you'd have to reach some kind of level of excellence "experience" wise and to achieve some milestones regarding your portfolio like: having a good number of uploads, an even better number of sales, maybe having few images in the "Editor's choice" category (a very personal target of mine since I did not manage so far to add this category... continue reading

Besides, we have never done such an in-depth analysis... continue reading
