Stop a minute!

I haven't written a blog or contributed many images for ages. Due to my daughter getting married, (I'm banned from putting images on line!!) and mainly, moving house. Having emptied the house of 4 offspring we decided to go for the traditional bungalow in an English village. In beautiful surroundings it has suddenly occurred to me how limited nature photography is.. Our images, stunning though some of them are, can never capture those other senses. That warm breeze on the cheek, the soft... continue reading

What Freelancers Should Know About Visual Content

Since the dawn of human civilization, visual representations were the first choice when people needed to narrate stories, show emotions and depict facts. There are several ancient caves that prove to us, that visual imagery was probably the first form of non-verbal communication among early representatives of our kind.Push the fast forward button and get thousands of years into the future only to realize the same things: visual representation of facts and emotions is still the number... continue reading

Tower Bridge London

Good morning, I'd like to share my impression of Tower Bridge, London, with you.At first, I was impressed by it's giant size. The breadth of the road surface, the big rivets and steel beams, the overall length...you got to see it to understand! Of course, it is still one photographers opinion ;-) The construction looks robust, and it is nicely painted. Perhaps the river Thames itself also contributes to my opinion about Tower Bridge, its breadth is enormous. Anyway, if you are in London,... continue reading

You think outside of the box and create new stuff out of nothing. That is what I did with these pictures. I tried new stuff after an evening of playing with torches, flashes, bike rims, lights, gels and xmas decoration.... continue reading
