Emotion in photography wasn't something I set out to do when I first started taking pictures for Dreamstime a couple of years ago. Before that, I did take photos but they were done with very little thought and were just taken as a reminder of places visited.Only after I'd begun to become immersed in photography did the emotion begin to surface. Weeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!My first sell!!! I just got back from a vacation to San Francisco and Santa Rosa. I logged in to see the status of some uploads and noticed the earnings balance. I was very happy to see One of my images made it into this months assignment contest. I spent hours looking over all the hundreds of hobby editorial photos I had done.. civil war reenactment, model trains, volunteer.. there are so many many hobbies out there- but I find I am often unable or too shy to ask total strangers for a copy rite release! so the image that DID make it in, is my son, taken after he crossed the finish line in a running muddy marathon. Now, I start to see a very good future on DT!I realized that there is no secret: just keeping shooting, studying and uploading.
