Halo Effect

I took this picture back in the 1990s with a very simple, very cheap 35mm film camera. Adoring my mother's purple irises, I was taking pictures of them before their season was over. The sun was setting, so I was trying to hurry. I did not pay attention to the position of the sun, so several of the images were ruined by lens flare.
