> I have more than six months experience working on microstock. At The first weeks I had sent my photos via a web form, it was very slow and not convenient. Uploading of small amount of photos on just one stock took a bunch time and required constant control. Next, I learned about the possibility of uploading photos by the protocol FTP - it allowed to speed-up the process. Then I discovered the IPTC meta tags. By this time I was already registered on 4 stoks, i need to write notes about files uploaded... continue reading

I finally have 500 images online. Initially the goal was to have it on by Xmas 2011, but had to extend the deadline by 6 months. Now aiming for 750 by December.I find the only way to really get lots of images up is to have a daily upload schedule. The now and agains just don't work. I submit to 12 agencies, (DT is my fav), so it takes good co-ordination to try and spread my uploads properly.Currently I'm sitting on more than 1000 unedited images that still needs to be finished, nevermind... continue reading

Then I add description to a certain amount of pictures allowed by my acceptance ratio, and the rest continue to wait.... continue reading

Have you ever wished you could upload images as fast as you can process them? Well, I certainly have! When I started contributing to Dreamstime, I uploaded one image at a time, directly through the website. At first, it wasn't so bad. But, as my uploads began to grow, so did my wait period. Most of my stock images I can process within one minute (complicated ones and problem-children aside), but it would take up to several minutes just to upload one! I would spend more time at the computer trying... continue reading
