Do you believe this image has a story behind it when you lay eyes on it? I have submitted this image for DT Assignment (Wow!).This little kid was enjoying light rain in the yard and suddenly heavy rain started. Boy then rushed and carried his little brother to bring him into the room. This photo was taken during rainy season in North Punjab Pakistan. continue reading
Hi everyone, since I am a Dreamstimer I submitted a lot of my dog photography with tips on how to take decent shots on non cooperative models such as dogs... and I have to say, each refusal note was teaching me to perform better shots me too... This was one of my first, but on adult dogs it's easier: they're teached to stay and more collaborative. With puppies it's a real nightmare! If they stay, then you have a lie-down image that is not more different from a million similar ones,... continue reading
I signed up to Dreamstime a while ago, well, maybe a year ago or so, I uploaded some photos of which, about 10 were accepted.I guess after a little while I didn't give much thought to Stock, but one day about a week and a half ago, I came an checked out my account.I was surprised and quite happy to see that I actually had a earnings balance!Though not a huge amount of money, I was happy to see that one of my photos sold! This has motivated me to put in the effort to upload and keep working... continue reading
Whew!!!Well, I have been in Dreamstime as a stock contributor now for 4 1/2 years. I have finally just now had 2000 images accepted!!The learning curve has been long and hard (my acceptance percentage is coming out of the toilet a little dab) and I still have MUCH to learn. I TRY to have a diverse portfolio but I just can't seem to conquer the success of taking pictures of SOME things.....like....sunsets or flowers. I wish i could, because there are some people out there that take some really... continue reading

Here is my story.I have been reading about dreamstime.com approval, quality of images, price plans, payment methods, blog etc for more than a year. I got a new DSLR Nikon D5200 18-105mm few weeks ago. Saw videos about how to take good and sharp images and about camera settings in certain conditions. I took about 400 photos one day at a historical place (Lahore Fort - 400 years old) at Lahore. My real focus was to take photos that can sell better. So I took shots of wall textures, stairs and old... continue reading
I think there is something magical about this time of the year on dreamstime.Maybe I'm a bit of a voyeur, but I love to browse through random porfoliosto get a peek into how my fellow contributors spent there summer holidays(or winter holidays, for our friends in the southern half of the world)As stock photographers, we have a tendency to leave a trail as we live our lives. That got me thinking about my recent vacation– cruising the Norwegian Fjords.... continue reading
Today I reached my goal of 100 images sold, and I am very happy for this! This my hundredth image has been sold with 11 credits. I noticed that sales have resumed in May, perhaps with a lower rate than in the past, but the average selling price has increased at a level that seems more appropriate. The image refer to an aircraft exibition in June 1 2008, andincludes “four shots” in a sequence, which reproduce the evolutions of a military helicopter during a national manifestation.... continue reading
