Search results for "ideas"
hi flolksA week or so ago i wrote that i was planning ahead for the winter months to find some "subjects" that could be done indoors at home during the miserable wet weather to keep the portfolio and uploads going.I am still working on that although i managed to get some ideas to mull over in the coming months, but the more pressing issue was to broaden my horizons NOW and take advantage of the better weather. You see my main photography interest is "birding" and my portfolio is exclusively... continue reading

Another contest? should I enter? should I even bother?Contests are very interesting... they are created for a lot of different reasons, the biggest most likely being that they give manufacturers a wonderful data base of names and addresses and data about you, which is worth it's weight for marketing. it also makes giving away something like a trip or a car worth more then the prize might actually cost. There are small contests that give away a book or a movie pass, larger contests that offer prizes... continue reading
Last year, my first year with DT, I successfully uploaded 50 photos. That was a tremendous feat for me being so new to everything. This year it has been my goal to attain my 100th upload. This year I reached this goal in less than five months. Ten years ago, the ebook market was just seeing the dawn of a new era. It's when I started to write novels and I geared toward the digital industry. So did the photostock market for book covers. In the romance industry everything is about the couple on the cover. There's a high demand for photos of naked or nearly naked men and women. The sexier the pose the better, of course it's romance and one of the hottest markets is the erotic lines. To boast sales, aim for them. Check out their sites... continue reading
Hi Guys!I decided to write this as I imagine I am not the only one to ever have had this dilemma. A lot of people have great shooting ideas but just don't know how to approach the tricky subject - of models and, of course, associated releases - required to implement such ideas. The unfortunate consequence of this is that a lot of creative ideas remain just that - ideas that never become reality. What a shame...There can be no doubt that Top Pros - such as the Yuri Arcurs' - amongst us are... continue reading
