Jasper - Canadian Rocky Mountains

In the Rocky Mountains of Canada, Jasper is the second largest town in the Canadian Rocky Mountains after Banff. Jasper is equally picturesque and has no less interesting places to rest in nature and is a less crowded place.Places that are interesting in terms of photography are many in both the town center and its surroundings. Near Jasper is the largest lake in the Canadian Rocky Mountains of Meligne Lake. Nearby is a deep Maligne Canyon. The Athabasca River flows through the Jasper area with... continue reading

Jasper national park (1)

Jasper is the largest rocky mountain national park in Canada. Lying along the eastern slope of the rockies, this park is surrounded by the British Columbia's Mount Robson on the west, and the Banff national park on the south. Since it's pretty convenient to get there from the city edmonton (350 km, 3.5 hours drive), I have visited this beautiful park for many times. The following pictures show some typical scenes around the jasper town. However, even in the hottest summer, this blue lake is full with icebergs. The icy bank of the lake is very interesting, it shows some very nice... continue reading
