Journey is often more beautiful than the destination , this is proved again and again.Mostly we start the journey for Photography destination early in the morning and as soon as we reached the outskirts of city we first encounter Sunrise then season specific fields, then hills and forest, rivers and bridges, lakes. We we pass through the fields and forest we got opportunity to shoot lots of birds , wild animals and reptiles.Season after rain provides opportunity to shoot clean blue... continue reading

Without a Canvas, painting is impracticable. Without vessels, cooking is impossible. Without citizens, a Government has no role. Without Thoughts, actions don't occur. In the same way, without good inspiration or mindset, no art will flourish.Life is a journey in itself. Especially a road-trip reflects the lessons of real life. One can get lots of real-time and varied experiences of people and the environment. An artistic mind relishes everything that comes in its way. Among the road-users,... continue reading
1. Go with the flow then stop at the most empty looking corner. The biggest treasures are in the most unexpected spots.2. Do not hunt for these iconic places, find new places you can make iconic!3. Look up, look down, look behind you, bend, crawl, jump, lie down, go to your knees, try to learn how to fly – use the skills of a literally flexible photographer.4. Pick a theme. Make a story. Brainstorm. Create an album in your mind in advance.5. Keep your camera always close to you, as you never know... continue reading
I still remember when I was starting, it was a hot month of august, I took my camera and went to take as many images as I could.Among those photos was one that I did not find very pleasant to admire, because it seemed very simple, it was a rocky texture of the earth that at first had caught my attention, but over time lost interest. Each photograph that I was uploading achieved a medium success, which motivated me to continue again and again with the taking of new and new photos, improving my technique... continue reading
I have been taking photos for years. Many photos. Anytime there is a camera in my hand I am taking photos. Anytime there is not a camera in my hand I am composing scenes in my head and wishing I had a camera in my hands. All the while people have been complementing me on my photography. On my raw, unedited work. Images that are screaming at me to refine, to make perfect. But I never did anything with it. I let the photos sit on hard drives to be lost in the sands of time. To be hidden in a box... continue reading
So I have reached 100 images, well 109 actually, and so far 1 sale, in just 6 weeks here on Dreamstime. And so a new year starts tomorrow and with it a new determination to take more varied and unique images as well as standard stock images. My Photography background lies with fetish and glamour but to be honest these are not very commercial, so after selling up my smallholding and photo studio in the mountains of Wales I bought myself a new camera and a huge sailing catamaran where I now live... continue reading
Well I am old enough to know better and young enough to still dream. I have been through a lot in my life seen a lot of dreams crash and burn. I don't have the thousand dollar camera and all the fancy equipment to go along with it, but i do have a lot of love for natural beauty and man made beauty of this world. Even though i never had the fancy gear nor the education or training of photography if i had a phone or a camera I would be taking pictures especially of nature. Most of the photos I will... continue reading
I have an account with Dreamstime since 2008. It is a long time and I don't have many photos to show for it.I love taking photos. It serves as a record of places I have visited and people I met. So I thought why not sign up and see if I can make some sales from something I love. I went through my collection and this photo of a lotus flower with a couple of bees was the first photo I uploaded. That was in August 2008. It was the one and only for a long time as I got busy looking after my... continue reading
60 images. I've never actually thought I would make it this far in my adventure with stock photography. I can still remember the days when I used a point-and-shoot, totally unaware of the skills of photography. Time really does fly doesn't it?I'm not really sure what to say in this blog post (a first!), and I'm not even sure what will become of my journey with Dreamstime, but what I do know that I have learnt a lot from stock photography, and I have enjoyed my time doing this. I haven't actually... continue reading
