A tip on getting more exposure for beginners

I'm a new comer to this world. I started a year ago just curious to see if some people would like my pictures. As everybody, I didn't know which platform to choose. I tried 2 to see if they accepted my work. Both did.I devoted until now to the other platform to reach an objective of 500 images uploaded. Now I'm doing the same with Dreamstime.I have only sold 2 times in DS (I have over 80 sells in the other platform). The same image sold twice. This is a picture of a New year's eve... continue reading

Freshening up your online files

I was editing one of my online files the other day because I'd thought of a better way to describe the photograph. I then went back and had a look at the first few photos I'd submitted and opened edit for each one.All of them had something that I then changed, either in the description and or adding keywords. I suppose it's normal for some people when they start out and maybe don't quite know the right keywords to use and the descriptions.I have to confess, I'm over six months... continue reading

Thoughts about the DT Keymaster option

These are my very personal thoughts and experiences about DT's option to have images re-keyworded for the fee of $ 0,60 per image. Is this worth it or not ?Well, let's agree on that even the "greatest image at all" will not sell if no one notice it. Once a image passed the editors and is online at DT, we basically can consider this image as ok. However, this is no guaranty to sell any license..., not even a subscription-based one.So...regardless of expression or any commercial potential... continue reading
