A simple way to make a white background is using the dodge tool. First duplicate the image, than we select Layer - New Adjustment Layer - Curves. Than we drag the lower left graph from the lower right corner to the corner. We select the duplicate image and after select the dodge tool - range - highlight and exposure about 10 - 20 and we begin to erase the edges. You can also work with the midtones and shadows. It has been harder that I thought to upload background or texture pictures.Among the three picture that I submitted, only this one is approved. The others has been rejected with reason. I must admit that they are no good at all on the edge etc..Only this nylon texture has been approved. I feel like, there is some room for my texture. Got 10 more photos approved yesterday (3 rejected). Good ratio for me since I was at about 35% approval rare earlier but now I am more serious about this. :) I have 26 photos online now so really closing in on my 50 photos goal.Still 7 photos waiting for approval, most of them older photos I found in my portfolio. Today gonna be a photo day since I need more photos for uploading, think I am gonna focusing on signs today which can be blanked and might have a commercial value.
