India Now

Often photos of India show the poorer side of life. It is true that photojournalism has done much to alleviate the state of the poor by exposing their plight to the world. Too often though we fail to photograph evidences of positive economic growth and modernization of ancient cultures such as in India today. Some of the most beautiful temples and palaces in the world are found in India such as the Taj Mahal and the modern Lotus Temple in Delhi built in 1986. By all means capture these instantly... continue reading

Yalova, city of Turkey

I've worked as hard as I could all my life. I wasn't a photographer nor an illustrator in the past - never went to school and learned everything by myself. No one did a favor to me, no one helped. I'm lucky that I have my parents who supported me on my passions as much as they can even when they broke - they never tried to suppress except my idea of being a rock guitarist which was futile in a country like mine anyway. Here in Turkey if you are a visitor they don't care you taking photographs... continue reading

I love Alcatraz

It was really nice to be able to photograph this Island in the fog. Alcatraz as I remember when I was little, was exciting for me to get on a boat, and go visit the island with my sister. There I'd so much history behind this Island.I think most of us take our freedoms for granted and, when you go visit a jail or prison you really learn to appreciate what lot of people don't have. But in particular, I just love the way this island photo turned out in the fog, because it makes such a pretty setting.... continue reading
