Over the last six months I have started going everywhere with a camera hidden somewhere on me or in my bags. Travelling on business doesn't always give you the opportunities for images you'd like but sometimes it does.I was in London earlier in the year with a friend meeting at Canary Wharf. Over coffee I mentioned I was interested in photography and as he knew the head of security at One Canada Square arranged there and then for me to get onto the roof of London's tallest building. Luckily I... continue reading

One of the joys of an interest in photography is that you start to notice things that previously went unnoticed. An interesting Latin engraving around the edge of a church door and the interesting carvings on familiar landmarks seem to have even more detail than they ever did before.I have lived in England all of my life, and in London for much of my adult life, but it has only since I have gained an interest in photography that I have started to notice many of the interesting details that are... continue reading
Hi Dreamers!Over the years I have been to London several times, and every time I carefully packed my camera etc, hoping for a great opportunity to take great pictures. To my great regret, until very recently I was mostly unlucky in terms of the weather in London.Usually I had some businesses to take care of first which (again usually) would happen beforeafternoon, just while the sun was shining and the sky was blue. I used to think: What a wonderful day for a photo-session in the City... continue reading
Few weeks ago me and my girlfriend went to London on a 4 days trip. I have been there when I was twelve and since then I have never been in London anymore. The journey has been very exciting, but not only for the monuments and the city sightseeing, but even because we had experienced to be in the middle of peaceful protest, called Occupy London. The protest were in front of the St. Paul's Cathedral.Without entering in the mere of the protest, if it's wrong or right, what I have really appreciated... continue reading
I have been fascinated with Occupy London protesters camping site and the amazing opportunities it provides for photographers. Also, I have been able to find and capture so many variations of images each representing it's own message and unique in subject. This has made me realise that no matter how small or large scale the subject is, there are a million opportunities to capture a subject in many different ways. I tired different angles and positions to do my best to capture each image. And that... continue reading

On a recent visit to London, I was heading to the river Thames to photograph some landmarks, most people are familiar with the famous views of the capital. However, walking through the commercial district I was amazed at the modern architecture, the stark mixture of concrete, glass and steel. The sun was still quite high and I had to position my self to avoid lens flare. The number of possibilities of angles, positions to shoot from, D of F and shutter speeds, using filters etc etc is endless.... continue reading
