Having manipulated photos for quite some time now I have picked up a few tips and decided to make a "tutorial" about the most important steps of creating realistic creations. Imagine having a picture of a person that you want to move to a different background. If you simply cut and paste, it will not look believable. Here's some things you need to think about:1. Effective Image Manipulation

This image may or may not exist in reality.The left and right windows are, respectively, the left and right mirror reflections of the centre window.It is a very simply manipulation, but only so as it is digital.It allows me a more effective presentation of the original picture. And if the original have been less than 3MP, now you have three times as many pixels.A designer still have the single window if he needs to, but it looks better in a row of three almost identical windows.... continue reading

I am currently involved in three web projects.I am using the images here for part of one of my web projects.I am taking the images and removing the backgrounds. . .I am mainly interested in people, but I am also incorporating some objects.I am most interested in image manipulation. . .I will be posting some of my photography soon.I have not been able to take pictures for several years due to a genetic disease taking away my arm strength.I still find ways to stay creative though. continue reading
