Hello! It’s my first post here, so sorry if something is not so interesting and useful, as it could be!It was very warm day today and I felt essentially that all people should take the cameras with them EVERY time they go outside. Even if it is the Saturday walk with relatives in the recreation park. You never know when you’ll see nice pictures: serious man in expensive costume, carrying cute small dog on his hands, elderly ladies dancing in retro dance stage or city mayor riding his... continue reading

See I wanted to write a blog to commemorate my 1,000th sale but I missed it, and now my sales are 1,002. I reminded myself many times about it when the countdown was in process... but typical me!Here are the last 3 sales I had, first one was my 1,000th and the other 2 ruined the nice occasion: continue reading
A photographer went to a dinner party where he showed many of his photographs. The lady of the house said, those are very nice pictures, you must have a great camera. He said nothing, but when leaving for home offered the following compliment to the lady of the house "The meal was very nice, you must have great pots and pans." continue reading
Boy Did we blow it, Yesterday at around 4:00pm there was a train derailment less than ½ mile from our house. My first instinct was to grab the cameras and run to snap a few photos (though my dear hubby was a little more cautious). But we were almost instantly told to evacuate. So we jumped in the motor home and headed to the state park for the night.Today theyevacuateda few people a little closer to the site but we were allowed to come home. But still can not get close enough for photos.... continue reading

There is nothing sweeter than a child exploring the natural world. and I forgot my camera!!Last week it rained several days in a row, it was very warm and my 2 year old granddaughter was driving her mom nuts being cooped up in the house. So we took her outside to play in the mud. she took her little child size garden shovel and dug for worms. then we found a great mud puddle and she splashed around for almost an hour.I had to convince her to come inside again by offering a warm bubble bath... continue reading
I have been driving by this house every day for more than a year,on my commute to and from work.Every time I looked at it, I kept telling myself: "This would make a good microstock picture"I was expecting it to be torn down, because it was in a bottle neck part of the road, but procrastination had me in it's iron grip. Finally, one Sunday afternoon, on my way to the shopping mall with my family, I decided to pull into the street and snap a few shots, ignoring my family's protests (sounds familiar?... continue reading
I always look for an excuse to take my girlfriend and my camera and to go “where no men has ever gone before”I live in England in Yorkshire for pas few years. I own twenty five shares of a stock called PCC. I checked it this morning at around 10:15 AM Central Time. It was down to only two cents per share! PCC had been around $12.50 or so yesterday. And when I checked the stock again in five minutes, it had gone back up to $12.25! Either this was a glitch, or I just missed out on a huge buying opportunity. If I had bought a hundred shares at two cents each, I would have made more than a thousand dollars in five minutes. Sigh, I really hope it was a glitch.... continue reading
