Life with a dog

You have to shoot a lot of pictures to get a good one especially when your model is a dog.    He is not particularly interested in the story but in the embrace and the attention.    She also holds him tight when he is forced to look at his drawing.    Sometimes one photograph is enough to understand the story of his life.    At the beach.    And when he's happy, most of the time he's happy. continue reading

What’s up with Socket Wrenches?

A friend of mine used to own 1950 something truck that didn’t have turn signals on it, they were an option. Al was working on his old truck one evening and he was lying under the truck on his back. Suddenly the nut came loose, sending the socket wrench handle into his jaw. The force was so strong that Al was knocked out. He lay there unconscious... continue reading

What’s up with Big Rocks?

A friend of mine had a rock in his dirt driveway that was about two feet in diameter. His sons decided that the rock needed to be taken out of the driveway so they started digging the dirt out around it. To their surprise, the rock kept getting bigger in diameter and ended up being three feet in diameter and about a foot thick. One of his sons said, “Let’s hook up the Model A and try and pull it out of the ground, there is no way we can lift it out.”So they dug under the middle of the rock... continue reading
