Attacked by monkey on Kelimutu

Kelimutu is active volcano with three colorful lakes on island Flores near by village Moni (Indonesia). If you want to see them in the best light you have to leave at 4 a.m. We rented a motorbike so we were not depended on other people.By the parking lot there is a small market. There I have drunk the best coffee that the old woman seller had made herself. But you have to have good luck - there is more sellers and not everyone has as good coffee as the one. Last February 4th and after making a bunch of sales all of them showing Woolly Monkeys from Peru I wrote a post about that issue. Most adorable woolly guys

In 2012 I made my second visit to Peru, this time to the Peruvian amazon which is simply amazing! Monkeys in the Sea

One day, I was traveling around Java and I was hitch-hiking for 10 days. I felt really tired in that time and I stopped in some small National Park in the East Java. I sat on the beach and wanted to take a rest after long trip. Then I saw these monkeys in the sea. My very first illustration
