Announcing My Newly Started NYC Collection

As an east coast girl (USA), one of my very favorite places within a few hours driving distance to go play around for a day is New York City. There's no other place like it, I'm sure, and I have the most amazing time whenever I go there. It's been nearly a year since I last had the chance to get up there, and right now every fiber of my being is aching for a spare day and a good buddy free on the same day, to get our butts up to the "big apple".I'm sure many others can relate. One day soon, I'... continue reading

New York City

It seems that New York City is getting back to normalcy after the hurricane. Today was a very nice and sunny day and probably naked cowboy is entertaining the crowd on Times square as he was when I was there the last time.I decided to start a new album where I will share my photos from US. So far I just started and sold only one image of a Big Lawn in Central Park in winter! But hopefully, my collection will get bigger and better and not just with the photos of other Dreamstime members! Wish me... continue reading

I ran to the top of my building to continue watching from there. This past wednesday i was lucky enough... continue reading

New York!

New York is a city with a thousand faces. Everywhere you look and everywhere you go there is something new to see. Sights range from historical importance to economic importance, but all are impressive. The riot of color, lights, motion, and energy can be overwhelming to a photographer trying to capture its essence--feeling their camera being pulled in a multitude of directions. Here are some of the images I managed to capture of this metropolis. continue reading

Manhattan Skyline

I've taken quite a few photos of the New York City Skyline and thought I might create a collection on the subject. Here's a new one that is a composite of three 15.1 mp shots - resulting in a single new photo of about 34 megapixels. Hope it might be useful to someone.Manhattan Skyline CollectionPlease browse my new collection: Manhattan Skyline... I'll plan to add more photos as time goes by, but I'll generally prefer to keep it smaller and composed of very high quality shots.Feel... continue reading

The Journey of Photography

One of the many benefits of photography is that we can chronicle our journeys. As a stock photographer, I try to incorporate my travel into my quest to produce high quality stock images that will meet some need of the market. At present, I'm working on a project in the NYC area. But I live east of Dallas and weekly make the trip from Dallas to the NYC area.So my journey starts at DFW - trying to catch pictures of jets landing...Then, I've been able to shoot from NJ looking... continue reading

I love New York City. And, I love the technique of HDR - high dynamic range photography. So, I really loved the chance to take some evening photos of the city and utilize HDR technique on these photos. From Liberty State Park on the NJ side, I took these photos last week. Ineed to take three RAW exposure-bracketed shots: one properly exposed, one -2 underexposed and one +2 overexposed. I didn't have my tripod, so I had to simply place my camera on a little concrete ledge. Exposure times were... continue reading
