Commercial-style photos

From the simplest but trying to do it as useful and professionally as possible,no need for model release (it is not necessary in this case) because we can not see the face of the model, so everything works faster and simplerAnd the best of everything, the model is me, nobody better than I could know exactly what I look for in each photograph, and it's free, there we go         continue reading

Images of Modern Post Office Buildings

I am looking for pictures of modern post office buildings to add to a new collection.I am having trouble finding images of modern building that are clearly identifiable as post offices, preferably with a post office sign.If you have an image of a post office that suits this need to balance the more traditional architecture, please post it for review. It can be either interior or exterior, but should clearly be a post office and not a more generic office building.Thank you for your help! continue reading

my top 3

Well I must admit I was stunned few months ago to watch, every five minutes or so, one of these three images being sold one after another to a total of nearly 100 pieces ...So, this means someone really liked my images or they found a good use to them! I'm really proud of these three images, not only cause of their sale record in my portfolio, but I really liked shooting in that dentists office which was modern and brightly colored, and watching them makes me forget about my dentist anxiety... continue reading

A drop of flood

Yes people, I had a lot of water in my office and in my studio. It happened last Monday on 1st of November, during the night. My parquet was devastated, but lucky me: I didn’t have any objects on the floor. So my advice: as much as you can check and change your bath and your kitchen accessories at least once at two years. My plumber told me that. And now the good part: Today, I was looking after a photo for my blog and I discovered something:flood in the office is not a very... continue reading

April 22, 2009- April 22, 2010.I am celebrating 1 year since I am working with Dreamstime. I started in full crisis: photo sessions, photo lessons, new partners, new team. This was my area. It's true that I was doing professional photography since 2004. But not microstock.Photos.It wasn’t easy, but many times Dreamstime offered me a lot of good moments: new levels, accepted photos, sales, a wonderful community, a lot of on line games… .Games.I should mention that sometimes... continue reading

Excitement

Well, I was just thinking about microstock.I started on this business as a hobby (it still is a hobby) on 2005 with my first camera, an Olympus E300 and since then, I literally done nothing. I uploaded 10-20 photos on 1-2 sites and totally forgot them. I got some little sales but they were so little, I was not even thinking of boosting my portfolio. That was then.A week ago, I told to myself that I want to do some work on my photos and my portfolio. What I like to shoot is people on situations... continue reading

Creative bursts

In the company I work for, it's a bit of a habit to have small competitions, in particular when it comes to naming a project, internal website or other stuff.I quite enjoy taking part in them, because I like the short but intense burst of creativity that they imply. I always start from a word or concept, draw a mind map of whatever comes through my mind that is (sometimes very loosely) related to it, and within a few minutes I marvel at catchy acronyms literally jumping up from the page, shooting... continue reading
