A small step for DT - but a big one for me

After one year and two weeks with Dreamstime I finally reached a personal milestone with now 1000 images in my portfolio. Having had a lazy start in the first months with no experience in stock photo business at all, I started working more conceptional and spent in general more time with building up my collection.There is still more potential. After one month on DT

In my first 30 day on DT result is:28 uploading images2 downloadAcceptance ratio: 82.4%As a greenhorn, i read a lot of threads in forum and i learning a lot of foto tricks.Actually it is freezing down here so i can not go out.:) and im locked inside and all my shot is made in improvisation studio.Ill see what ratio, i will get when start uploading shot from outside.My conclusion: worth it uploading and uploading.....The show must go on... continue reading

One Year In

I guess it is really two years in, I initially submitted some photography in January 2010 but failed the submission process and I go t a little demoralised so I wwent away and did a 365 Project to force me to learn the nuances of my camera and improve a little...I resubmitted at the start of January in 2011 and sailed through with the photogrph to the left being one of my original submissions and still one of my favourites photogrpahs, although I have subsequently learnt that favourite photographs... continue reading
