orchid series 2

this is the second time that i took my mum's orchids to take photos. this series is not close and it shows the original shape of orchids. however, it is sad that not all the photos have been accepted since the admin claimed that there are too many similar photos. finally, 7 species are accepted and i would like to share with you. they are really lovely and get their own pattern on petals. hope all of you can enjoy. My mum likes planting very much. She started to plant orchids since 2000. Small, wild and protected.Those three attributes make up the challenge. Orchids are mostly beautiful flowers, worth being photographed, but ...All wild orchids are protected species. That means you can't collect them and take them to the studio to workout their best images. At least here in Portugal it is stricly forbiden to collect wild orchid specimens and they can't be found everywhere, most of them are to be found only in natural reserves and parks.
