Beeing an architect student, i learned many different programs for 3D modeling and now i want to bring my knowledge in digital games. If you want to create a background for 2D games, you will not have problems, but 3D games are completely different! If you need to create 3D GAMES that allows the player unrestricted movement and makes them feel like they are in an unlimited 3D world, you need to learn to create 3D backgrounds, otherwise known as skyboxes. Skyboxes could have many different format,... continue reading

I live in a country that offers a great variety of panoramas... it's quite difficult to choose what is better, so when I am in relax time I usually bring my camera with me to be "ready" for occasional shots... This up here is a sunset shot of a mid-march serene day. It was taken on the seaside here in my Country, Italy, Vibo Valentia, on Mediterranean sea. This period of the year is quite calm for tourists, so people of the place use this port for commercial reasons, preferably in fisheries... continue reading
Venice is a city to live and to see from different heights... You can look at the city from the top of a bell tower , and lose yourself in the scenic town and the lagoon ... You can look at its most beautiful monuments and those lesser-known... And you can also immerse yourself in the streets and in the culinary culture of the city , including traditional recipes... new visions and street food... From whatever height you'll look at her, Venice will... continue reading
Today My first panorama was accepted in which I am very excited, I have been working on Trying to perfect my panoramas for a little over 5 months, and while it may have taken awhile to understand how to create High quality Panoramas I now can start focusing more on the subject of the photo rather than struggling to learn how create the Panorama. So I currently will be submitting a few more of my panoramas for review in hopes that it will be approved, and then I will begin working on a new batch... continue reading
This post was first published in 2009. During the 5 years since I posted it, I have come to important conclusions, I wish to share with you.1) of all, there is a market to Panoramic stock images. It's not the mass sales of mine, but occasionally, a buyer finds my panoramas viable for purchase.2)The progress in technology makes it easier to shoot and a lot simpler to compose. Software like Picasa orMicrosoft ICE are available for free and produce (especially ICE) professional grade results.... continue reading

Panoramas are very interesting when it comes to landscape photography. There is a sense of grandeur about them and the wide format makes them compelling.I have had a fascination for panoramas since a long time. There are many ways to create them and some of the most powerful tools are even opensource. My workflow as a hobbyist, is very simple. When I find a subject that seems to have a panorama in it, I stand at a position that could serve as the horizontal center of the photograph. I take... continue reading
My first experience with stitching photos into panoramas/mosaics was using the Canon PhotoStitch application. It has come along way since I first used it in 1999 however, still seems to struggle with many stitching scenarios, especially if the photos are not captured panning about a perfect axis. I am sure the proper way to do this is to buy a purpose-built pan head, such as Manfrotto's 303 Precision QTVR Panoramic Head. Personally I find that too much gear to carry for most of my travel photography.... continue reading
It took me quite a while to get started with uploading panorama images to microstock. The problem wasn't that I didn't have suitable subject matter, but that I didn't know how, and assumed incorrectly that the software available wasn't good enough to produce seamless results. As with anything, there's a variety of ways of doing this. This is a summary of how I do it:Camera Settings1. Set the camera to shoot in "RAW" mode, not jpeg if you don't usually shoot raw.2. Set the camera to Manual... continue reading
