Protective parent

 Doing a study on eider ducks I came across this aggressive Oystercatcher determined to drive me away from its nest, the exact location of which I could not identify. It amazed me as this relatively small bird continued to display aggressively despite its size. The power of its instinct to protect its eggs was greater than its fear of me.
