Welcome for the new DT photographer and New Year piglets

I would like to welcome the new DreamsTime photographer whose first picture looks almost just like a brook that runs through our village. Here in Central Bohemia are places like clouds, and today finally attacked the first snow (of which I am not at all pleased, although coal still have). Otherwise, I want to introduce a collection of New Year's cute piglets. Since the end of the year is approaching. :-)New Years cute piglets   continue reading

Do You Know Any Famous Modern Landscape Photographers?

I love landscape photography and recently wanted to find out which photographers were famous in this area of photography.   I came across the usual names; people like Ansel Adams, but I wanted to know if there were any modern day photographers who specialized in digital landscape photography which is a lot different to when Ansel was taking Black & White shots of his beloved America. Those guys used film in their cameras and only got to see the finished image after processing. This was... continue reading

A Day in the Life of Photojournalist

My first official assignment as a freelance photojournalist (June 26th, 2016) began fairly calmly--on a nice, Sunday morning--simply shooting photos of a rally and counter-protest at the California State Capitol Building, in Sacramento. The sky was clear and there was a light breeze rustling the mature trees on the Capitol lawn as I stood across the street--cameras harnessed and press credentials hanging around my neck--eating a PB&J and wondering if this assignment was going to be worth the gas... continue reading

Its now nighttime, the only part of the day I can seem to get away from the camera, edit photographs and go over my adventures and share them with all of you!Early morning start as the sun peaks the hillside and breaks the shadow of the mountain. A morning without coffee is not a good morning at all, with cup in hand and camera equipment over... continue reading
