Fall is one of the two seasons (the other is sprind) where shutterbugs go wild as nature bursts with vibrant colors from gold to red. The cue is to go where the trees are. But not just any trees. Oaks, maples, beeches, sweetgums, yellow-poplars, dogwoods, hickories, and some of the tree varieties with leaves changing colors are the fall season approaches.Takachiho Gorge, Miyazaki, Japan Takachiho Gorge is a triangular gorge leading to a 17 meter high Minainotaki waterfall flowing... continue reading
From an early age I had this strange obsession with buildings, and items that had been abandoned by humankind. The more old and overgrown by nature these items were, the more fascinating they became for me. It wasn't until recently that I began to piece the reasoning behind this together. Online searches told me I was not the only one with this 'gothic' obsession, either. It all boils down to four very simple facts. 1. These abandoned things and places represent a very real image of what... continue reading
Some years ago, I decided to go on vacation for a few weeks during the winter. I checked the internet and found many hotels but with terrible pictures. That gave me an idea.I picked a few hotels and E-mailed them my proposal. If they let me stay at their hotel for free, I would create a beautiful website for them, showing off all the best points of the hotel. In return, they would let me stay for FREE.Out of 5 hotels, 2 agreed!Next January I flew to my chosen destination and stayed at the... continue reading

I’ve been living in Lahore since past 5 years now. A great place to live and for photography. It has many historical places like Lahore Fort (Shahi Qilla), Badshahi Mosque, Shalimar Gardens, Wazir Khan Mosque, etc. I have photographed most of the places but still there are many more to visit. I think Lahore has more historical places than any other city in Pakistan. Minar E Pakistan picture is the most popular one in my portfolio which got 7 sales. One of the first things that people notice about Edmonton is that it’s a small city, but it’s spread out like butter on a hot piece of toast. If you catch the airport bus in (#747, $5) you’ll see that it takes a few minutes to get into where the city basically starts, and then you have to hop on another train. Forget suburbia, unless you like Walmart, The Olive Garden and have a car to drive around, there’s not much to do. The major action in Edmonton (and also the best picture taking spots)... continue reading
I live in a country that offers a great variety of panoramas... it's quite difficult to choose what is better, so when I am in relax time I usually bring my camera with me to be "ready" for occasional shots... This period of the year is quite calm for tourists, so people of the place use this port for commercial reasons, preferably in fisheries... continue reading
