After coming close in recent years. On the 29th of December 2014 Alicante airport had its 10,000,000th passenger of the year.When in Spain instead of going to the beach everyday I spend a lot of time standing on a muddy hump near to the airport.It is worth it to see all of the cleverly painted aircraft and the recent new terminal building. I love taking photos of passenger planes as they are usually brightly painted but the downside is that they are usually covered in logos making them only suitable for editorial sales. I know that this can restrict use for developers, so when ever I get an opportunity to make a royalty free upload I take it.No chance with this one! Or this! Or this, Fan Force One! But this is OK! As a pilot and a photographer - what better than to combine my two loves? And, from a stock photography perspective they make great symbols of travel, transportation, aviation, etc.I've always been impressed with giant passenger jets so gracefully passing overhead on short final. Hi All,A cupple of weeks ago I went to brilliant air show at Biggen Hill. I took more than 900 photos and got sun burned in the process lol but it was worth it! I have noticed there are loads of photos of planes on DT and I'm not sure how successful my images will be once I submit them!!! Anyway I will still enjoy the images I took on the day.
