Usually every time a photo of mine sells it fills my heart with joy. Yesterday this photo sold. It gave me a bitter sad feeling. We were tourists in Paris in May 2013 and just the first day when we started to roam the city, were surprised by the intense police activity, which I found rather amusing. Taken 11/25/14 these folks set out to protest in the Santa Barbara streets, they did not make it on the fwy but made it to the SBPD. There were many speeches some harsh words and some that had hope and inspiration. For me i enjoyed taking pictures of new material and something i have never done before. This is my first level three imageIts interesting that images where you've thought of a concept spent ages setting it up and then photoshopping such as this oneonly get a couple of downloads but my first level 3 was just a random shot of a couple of police officers I saw while i was out with my camera.I suppose the moral of the story is get out more with your camera. continue reading
After 1 year in microstock business, this is my first editorial image accepted in Dreamstime. I visited New York right after May 1st attempted car bombing incident. Manhattan city has tightened its security as you can find police officers at every corner of the city and police cars are in standby mode at every junctions of traffic light.
