Okay, so it's taken 6 months, but I finally have my first sale on DT! That $0.35 has made my day :) Hopefully now the floodgates will open and more sales will follow. However, I do think I need to re-keyword my images--and upload lots more--to stand any chance of making regular sales. Never mind #motivationmonday it must be #midweekmotivation :)For those interested this is the picture I sold continue reading
Hello everybody, it's my first post on Dreamstime Blog! I'm writing to share with you my joy about my first "important" upload milestone - 50 images online!I know that it may not seem important as there are a lot of portfolios on Dreamstime with 1000 and more images, but if you are a stock beginner as me or if you remember your excitement about first approved images, you will understand me! I've been uploading since November, 2014 and had my moments of inspiration and enthusiasm and sometimes of... continue reading
I have a progress!I started drawing my vector illustrations on a graphic tablet recently. I liked it!This is much easier than to draw using a computer mouse.Computer mouse to draw is not very convenient and accurate. The first graphics tablet, which I tried - it's Genius, and today on my birthday gave WACOM! It is wonderful ^ _ ^It remains for me to set up Illustrator to work with the tablet - and I can keep learning!here are some of my illustrationsfrom my portfolio, drawn with a... continue reading
Hey Everyone,Never posted a blog before so thought I'd make a start by posting about my very limited experience with the world of stock photography.Photography has been a serious hobby for me for around 2 years now (serious in the sense of purchasing my first SLR and spending time getting to know how to use it and take good shots, 2 years ago i didn't even know the correct term for Depth of Field). I first heard about stock photography around a year ago, but never really looked... continue reading

I thought I would share an update with everybody on how my year and a half with being on Dreamstime is going. It has been a tough year and a half and I can report that I'm still here.I didn't quit like I wanted to back when I first started and I only had 3 of my initial 14 images approved or the many more rejections that followed. However despite that I kept learning and uploading. Now on to my progress for the last 18 months. I received my first sale after about a month after my sign up.... continue reading
This is a theme that you hear not only in photography but in stock photography as well.
