Everyday we are surprised by a mobile phone manufacturer, especially if we are talking about the camera specifications. It is like a cold war, everyone has a race to see who can develop the most advanced and optimal hardware. On other hand, even stock agencies now accept photos and videos taken by mobile devices. Quality: the standard of something as measured against other things of a similar kind; the degree of excellence of something. It has taken a while for me to create quality in my images. All the usual elements that help achieve quality are education, experience, research, time, repetition, and a certain level of gear. Not necessary but extremely useful are tilt-shift lenses for still life photography.I guess this is obvious. If the quality of your image looks out of place when you... continue reading
Last week I was surprised by four niche sales of the city Zwolle, no subscriptions, fully paid. Most of you probably don't even know where Zwolle is located.Like most of you I have architectural pictures of London and Paris. Dreamstime has plenty of pictures of these famous cities. Resulting in very few sales for me. I sell more pictures of for example Beijing and Machu Picchu. The reason is probably that it is more difficult to go there. The same is true for Zwolle, few people... continue reading
