If you have ever been taking landscape photographs in the rain you will know how difficult it is to manage all your camera gear plus keep it, and yourself, dry. There are a number of options including seven mentioned here. Many involve covering your camera with plastic and/or holding an umbrella over yourself and your camera set up.
