Humane Society Photography: Rocky

Rocky the Rottweiler was surrendered by his owner to the local animal control shelter. Sadly, his owner said that he no longer had any place for him. (I understand the situations of life, but I also long for the day when it is understood that pet ownership is a life-long thing.)After six days in the shelter he still hadn’t gotten any attention from rescues or adopters. So it was time for some “glamour photos”! Rocky was kind of in rough shape. He was a bit underweight and was... continue reading

Edmonton - Canadian city

Edmonton is a city where tourists often begin or end their journey on the Canadian Rocki Mountains. It is a vast city, though with a very small number of inhabitants. Many urban parks are located here, and after recreational greens on the banks of the Saskatchewan River, you can bike or walk for days.It is precisely in this regard that the people involved in photography can count on many interesting topics. You can photograph both nature and architecture and typical street life (Street Photo). So,... continue reading

Sunrise came at 5:30am. A couple of times I got to my photography location at 5am - and was able to get the very best of the early morning light. I even got to see a bear and two cubs. No pictures of her however, I really didn't want to get all that close.2. Tripod - wherever possible, I tried to use my tripod... continue reading
