Autumn and Winter

Autumn and winter are almost arriving. We need to be prepared. Of course we can do great photos of orange and brown leaves or patterns of snow. But the issue is other: avoid sadness and depression caused by the lack of light and the weather.Buy some colorful clothes, (re)start an activity, make/renew contact with friends, enroll in some adult education course. Keep yourself occupied, social and positive !Time will pass, we need to know what to do with it. Spring and summer will come... continue reading

Mixed feelings about selling a photo

Usually every time a photo of mine sells it fills my heart with joy. Yesterday this photo sold. It gave me a bitter sad feeling. We were tourists in Paris in May 2013 and just the first day when we started to roam the city, were surprised by the intense police activity, which I found rather amusing. They were dressed for battle as preparing to fight a huge force when in fact the demonstrators turned out to be elderly people that tried to make a last stand against legalizing gay marriage. ... continue reading

...left. Till my 1st 100$. Oh Lord, won't you buy an image of mine? ;-)I plan to use this $$$ wise, as my poor old camera C5050 Olympus has suddenly committed suicide by breaking it's batteries locking part and I keep on gathering funds for a new one (oh, well, not a NEW one, I cannot afford it, but another C5050 will do).Hope I will make it before the fall comes, as it is always so colourful in Poland and I would be sad without a possibility to take a single pic of it :/ continue reading
