For some time, DT has offered the ability to submit photos from mobile devices, which was inevitable with the direction that tablet and cellular phone cameras have improved drastically from the original flip phone devices. That being said, I am a fairly new stock photographer, and I am learning everyday.I have posted photos with my canon, but I have also taken some photos with a Samsung S5 with custom settings. Some are completely against mobile device photography being listed, while others... continue reading
Just as I was thinking my sales were slow this month compared to the previous three, I found this morning that I had sold two TIFF extended licenses (W-EL & P-EL) for the same image:I think it's probably the same buyer, which seems unusual. Has anyone else had this experience?Thank you to the buyer! continue reading
After a long hard struggle, I came close to giving up stock photography (altogether) before I got my first acceptance - "Slovenian Autumn Greens" (photo top left "from Slovenia") - late last November. However, I soon realised that - even after that major victory - the only way to progress was to put the effort in to begin to grasp the ideological shift stock photography required.Almost a year after joining Dreamtime, it is hard to describe how over joyed I was to record my first two downloads... continue reading
Today I got my 400th Image online and made my second $100 cash out! This is my 400th Image. This is my illustration that got me to $200 and it was a 13 credit sale, which is also the largest credit sale I have had so far.I was looking and hoping to make the extra 8 cents today that I needed to hit that $200 dollar mark, when this sale came in and earned me just over $9.00.It's a good day!! :) continue reading
Hi all,It is quite a while since my last Blog but this time I have a really good reason to have a new one. Last week the european soccer championship for squads under 21 had started. We are not a part of Europe's soccer leading nations so this is probably a one-timer.Saying that it was really awesome to see a match between England and Italy (first time #1). The match was quite good and interesting as England had... continue reading
This weekend I had the pleasure of having two personal milestones:First, I had my first U-EL and I-EL sale!!! This was a major surprise for me, although I had to wait some time for it. But the wait worth it! This is the one! Thanks Dreamstime! The second personal milestone is having over 300 Online Images! And I did it. Of course, I'm not going to stop and I want to have at least 400 at the end of the year. I'll have to work some for this, but an extended licence it's a thought that keeps me... continue reading

Five months into Microstock at Dreamstime, I hit two milestones on the same night with this photo. Next milestone .... a level 2 image. One thing I like about Dreamstime and microstock is that I don't know where I will end up, but there is always that next goal and milestone right around the corner. continue reading
