Hello ,As a little child I remember how the world was a mystery. I was born after the revolution in Romania in 1989. I do not know how it was 28 years ago in the world but where I was born things were not very pink, everything was in a shade of gray.In time, the world began to change for the better, got the color. People have become more attentive in the care of the Earth. I remember that at the age of 14 I enrolled as a volunteer at a foundation where we cleaned parks and planted trees. I still... continue reading

An exceptional month, this month, I managed to place ten pictures in ten in the contest with a total success. It is my first time since I started regularly to upload picture. The first one is my preferred one :P The ten photos were accepted one after the other. You can see them below. As I wrote last month regarding the assignment, every contributor must give it a try. From my experience, it brought a lot of buyer to my portfolio monthly.... continue reading
A friend of mine, who works in cost reduction, told me once that the easiest way to reduce costs is to shut off the lights when you leave the office. It’s that simple. At the end of the day, if you work in an office building and nobody else needs the lights on, just shut them off. Don’t wait for the cleaner to do it, don’t leave it to an administrator, just push that button yourself. You save money for your company but, more important, you save energy. By saving energy, you help save... continue reading
I'm fully supportive of Dreamstime removing old images that have not had any sales after 4 years, I think that's the right thing to do and have quite happily dealt with my old images. But today one of my favourites comes up for its last thirty days. The image is from Deception Island, Antarctica and despite the 100,000 to 200,000 penguins in the colony, this little one stood out as they almost 'stood guard' watching us humans arrive on the beach.I share this in the hope some buyer takes a liking... continue reading
When I began with stock photography back in July 2011. I was using mostly kit lenses like my 18-55 and 75-300 kit lenses from Sony. I tought that this kit lenses will satisfy my needs in photography, since I was beginner at a time. Well to be honest those lenses was pretty good for me, until I begin to pixel-peep my images, or inspecting them at 100% magnification. As you all know, that is how DT reviewers inspect and aproove or reject our images, so you all now why is important that we do it also.... continue reading
Finally I reached this step: the 10th upload. For the most part of you it could be nothing... but I had to wait a lot for it... maybe because I have dedicate few time to DT since now.My image is dedicated to an important cause: it's necessary to spend less energy to save our planet!I wish one day to say it on green association, or something like that... continue reading
With the Economy being what it is I know that alot of photographers are feeling it and having to decide if they would rather go out and rent a studio for a few hours if they dont have one with unlimited free access or purchase upgrades for their equipment. As of late I have been thinking about this quite often and have come up with a practical solution until our studio is complete. The Solution that I have found is our local parks. In my experience most local parks do not charge a fee for shooting... continue reading
As I mentioned in my previous blog that you have to make some editing on your downloaded images (and even the created ones) in order to prevent from illegal copy. Here I'm going to mention some tricks with the code, that could keep away a curious amateur who is trying to copy your photos...1- To disable the image tool bar on your internet browser you can use this meta tag in the head part of your HTML...2- To disable the right click on a whole page with no message, add this to the body... continue reading
