The pe(a)rks of Vienna

Vienna was chosen 2017 as the most liveable city - for the 8th year in a row. For those, who wonder why, in my humble opinion, parks are a major factor. Vienna has many and big parks, for every season. Let me show you some:This is Volksgarten with the Burgtheater (National Theater) in the background. Very popular among the tourists and locals, because of the closeness to the city center - Burgtheater, Rathaus, the Burg are all very close, in early summer the smell of roses..   The park... continue reading

Shooting Seasons

After a long pause in my contributions, I have finally got back to business and in previous weeks made something like 20 uploads.I am taking advantage of the winter season in Israel. It's mostly clear and temperatures range between 15-25 celsius most of the time, with rainy days here and there. This allows for day trips in very comfortable weather and it's quite common to get dramatic skies due to clouds as oppose to other seasons. If you are brave or lucky you get also capture post/... continue reading

We are still in what's considered Fall season. In a recent post I mentioned the fall a little, but it was more general overview of possible locations and what's special in each area. Winter has arrived

Winter arrived in Calgary in full force last weekend, with a big snow dump and cold temperatures passing through 0 C...I had a tarp covering our lawn furniture that freezing rain pooled on and froze.I grabbed a chunk of the ice and threw it in the freezer thinking it might make some cool shots (pun intended!).I had no idea how cool - the little bubbles moving through as it froze almost look like mercury when viewed closeup.I put the chunk of ice on top of a glass and fired a wireless... continue reading

Flower Blossom

The first day of spring has finally arrived here in our beautiful country, South Africa. We had an abundance of rain during June and July which has been such a blessing! Our dams are overflowing once again for the first time in years. Hopefully the rain will continue to fall over our entire country during the months of spring and summer this year as well as next year. I do, however, look forward to warmer months ahead after an exceptionally cold winter. What I am most looking forward to is the... continue reading
