As reviewers our mission is to curate photos and illustrations and showcase them to our designers in the best possible way. Our experience so far has showed that when submitting images, selecting the best ones from a series and uploading just them instead of the whole series works best for your portfolio and sales. Let’s explore why. Firstly, let’s get a bit technical. Dreamstime’s level system makes your individual photos more expensive if they sell well. Having countless almost identical images... continue reading

Today I want to share with you the wonders of a region located in central Israel. Mere 40 minutes from Tel Aviv and Jerusalem that offers a lot of exciting sites to visit and a world heritage site - Lachish Region. This hilly area has underground man-made caves the held whole communities in the big Jewish rebellion against the Roman Empire in 135 A.D.Lush green hills (in winter-early spring months) with shepherds that look like they just walk with King David and Jesus 2000-3000 years... continue reading

In a very interesting coincidence, I stumbled upon this TED talk about 2 weeks before I reached my 2,000 sales benchmark (today!!!).Grit is a concept that claims that individuals who show passion and perseverance have more chance to succeed in the long run than other factors such as IQ or EQ. More information can be found in this link: Angela Lee Duckworth: Grit: The power of passion and persverance I can testify that in photography it could never be truer.I started my photography... continue reading

I experience "dry season" that can last up to a month, then there is a burst of downloads that boost my confidence and makes me think the big breakthrough is here to stay, only to run into another "dry season".Going thru the new images that people upload or reading the trend of the month newsletter, is a great source of knowing what sells. Then it... continue reading
I'm an author who can recognize her characters anywhere: in my neighborhood, my workplace, and even in the grocery store.Once I mentally connect a face to a character, the effect is indelible.I'll never forget them or think of them in any other way!Enter Dreamstime. There are thousands of models to pick from, and many of them resemble the characters I see in my head. However, because I write several series, I want the model on the cover of each book in the series to match the others.After... continue reading
