Sharing my favorite images in my portfolio

I took this picture of a beautiful sunset last fall in 2017, the orange and blue colors caught my eyes and was a must have to share with everyone. Natural everyday images can be background abstracts without even the need of editing them, I left these pictures untouched and letting them be able to show there own realness and quality. This second picture is the same day as the fist just a little later in the day and has its own orange and blue abstract background feel to it as well. This third and... continue reading

Its Magic! My First Earning from Winning Assigments

It's hard to believe. But the announcement was real. Ranks second for the assignment contest. Very movingIt seems unfair if I do not share this happiness with my friends at DT, at least I can tell a little story behind this victory. Not even one year I joined the DT, and predictable sales are still very quiet. Please note, that when joining DT April last year I only uploaded 4 files and that was only a condition. Then a week later I tried uploading as many as 9 files with the same photo series... continue reading

This will be an interesting and funny post, you will see why I am saying this. :)It is not an usual post, maybe it is not a real post at all, but from my love for them resulted this.Meet my favorite and my beloved models:The white cat is Mina, as you can see she is a blue eyes cat, 2 years and a half old, Rag-doll Blue Bi-color, with Pedigree. Her nose has a cute little black spot and because of that when she was a kitten, we called her Raspberry Muffin, also because of the fluffiness. Adorable... continue reading

Sharing the latest

Hey Dreamstime fellow membersI recently had an amazing session with beautiful model and talented violinist Melanie Carrasquillo, and I wanted to share the experience with you guys. We started the shoot walking around Old San Juan (the capital city of Puerto Rico, constructed in the 1500s by Spain colonists) and taking photos at the street and sidewalks to the bemusement of tourists and locals alike    We found a home that was being remodeled and asked for permission... continue reading

Sharing my experience with 100 images online

Dear friends,I joined DT in May 2014 with 8 images online in the initial period. I was new to stock photography and didn't know much technicalities, so somehow, my enthusiasm faded over time. A few rejected images also made me down. However, I had a new camera in June 2016 and renewed interest in photography. I read books, blogs, magazines, and experimented with the lenses... And tried again... And wow! My 98 images have been accepted within last 50 days (to be exact, 52 days!), with total... continue reading

My portfolio reached 3000 images! Sharing joy with you!

I would like to share my joy with you. Today, my portfolio reached 3,000 photos. I set myself some goals on a monthly basis, and these goals are achieved, one by one. It is a nice feeling when you're doing something in order to succeed. I hope that my work will be seen by those who need to see them, and that this my effort and work will get financial justification, also. I started with scarce and basic knowledge of photography, and basic equipment. Now I can praise that I've mastered... continue reading

Out my Back Door

They always told me 'you can take the girl out of the country but you can't take the country out of the girl' and that is true of me. I grew up in the back country of West Kentucky, nothing but fields and woods out our back door. I spent 7 years in the heart of St. Louis, MO before returning to my home place.I learned from childhood to observe and love nature, as I got older and owned my first camera, which wasn't the best one, I took pictures of everything, I just wanted to share the world around... continue reading

Re-editing accepted photos on DT

Hello,I don't know if you had already did this (most certainly, yes), but I'm started to reworked some accepted pictures on DT, specially those who didn't had the look that I want now.So, I make the retouching of the pictures, I upload it as usual, I am writing a comment to the editor by saying what picture ID I want to replace and after the submission, I disable the original picture. What it's your method?and what is the result (in views, dwds, comments)... continue reading
