It’s a BLOG. I get to do what I want :)After my job folded last October and I decided not to work for totally crazy people ever again (not counting myself), I knew that in order to be successful in any kind of media field I would have to learn Photoshop. Now really, how hard can that be?... continue reading

I tried doing it through photoshop but it was not giving me the result i was looking for until it occur to me why wont i just transfer the files into illustrator instead. Anyone love shopping? It is the weekends, y'all. Let's have fun!Why do I have so many pictures of shopping malls? Simply an obsession with shopping. While online shopping is convenient and saves time, there is nothing like being there physically in the stores checking out clothes, shoes, accessories, etc.If you are heading to the big cities, don't forget to photograph shopping malls. Each mall has unique architecture and lighting. It can be quite challenging capturing the people and the stores... continue reading
I've been looking around the web for the best price for a Panasonic 20mm f1.7. I came across DVStage.com, an impressive looking site which purports to offer the lens at £148 - £122 pounds less than the next lowest price! Thinking this is probably too good to be true, I googled them and found lots of reports about their shady dealings. Typical is: this one.Hope this is helpful! continue reading

After a week of uploading and waiting for approval ... I ended it up with fifteen pictures approved. I nerver thought that my pictures are qualified to be on-line here beside the professionals photographer with a modest camera and lens kits.It has been very excited and challenging to translation the "pro" description of the rejection into my picture which is rejected like "over filtered". Over filtered for what ? too much sharpness? remove to much noise ? Burn the picture too much ? etc...... continue reading
Nowaday, it is very easy to capture picture of any thing, in any situation and with any point of view (tilted LCD) but the result is not the same according to the brand of the camera. I heard that Canon delivers softer picture and Nikon process more the final picture to deliver a sharp and bright picture; No matter the format of the files out of the box.My experience is nobody can be called "Cartier-Bresson" hanging his Leica on the neck and capture the right picture at the right moment with the... continue reading
If you're like me, sometimes what comes out of your camera and onto your monitor isn't quite what you had in mind when you took the photo. Sometimes the image might look a bit flat or dull, despite playing with curves or levels in Photoshop.Have you ever tried the blending modes? They can really add something dynamic to an image. So where do you find blending modes? When you open an image in Photoshop, you'll automatically have a background layer in the Layers palette. You won't see the blending... continue reading
