Slowly, but surely!

This is my first blog, but only to say thanks to those who have purchased my photos! Nothing gives me more encouragement than people giving me support and advice to improve my photography. The refused files with attached reasons for refusal is really painful but USEFUL at the same time =) Haven't sold many, but when it happens its a great feeling, addictive! continue reading

Slowly but surely

Friends There's not much with which we can share. But my view is that the little things that make the world more beautiful. One of my first sale was an abstract image of a pyramid of sand suitable for background.  Long time nothing was sold. Only recently I managed a little shine. Two other sales.  Image of Queen Hatshepsut of Egypt. It was the only monarch in Egypt: actually managed to convince all people that its origin is divine. Another successful my photo became a mosque in the Egyptian... continue reading

Turning stone by stone, slowly but surely, Milestones.

Hi photo-maniacs!I promised to come back as soon as I had a new milestone, it happened, sold my 10th image and again learned so much more. Working with dreamstime is a pleasure for me, sometimes painful, when many pictures in a batch are refused. But, People, fellow photographers, buyers, sellers, it is learning me so much each time. Approving my skills thanks to refused pictures, learning from my mistakes, I cannot thank the Moderators enough for their time and advice. So New fellow photographers,... continue reading

Slowly walking and watching

Hi all, first blog post for me here.As an architect, I tend to walk slow in new places I visit, trying to capture how life flows in that place and looking at all those small details that a nice genuine environment has to offer. My wife is an architect, too, so I'm lucky to share this kind of peaceful observation of things with the woman I love.More, if you are so relaxed to get out of your bed very early in the morning, there is plenty of occasions to take good shots of the world around you.... continue reading

Discovering new world...slowly

Back in summer 2009 i was so bored of these regular shots with everyday lens. So i thought i need something new. Well, as I didn't want to buy a crap, i found really good and long telephoto lenses unaffordable and decided for really "short" lenses. So, an extreme macro lens from Canon, the MP-E 60mm was ordered in ca 1 week after founded the need for something new.Unfortunatly i haven't have much time to practice but i've got some really really awsome photos that human eye doesn't see in everyday... continue reading

Slowly Coming Back

My last blog article was back in March talking about how I had major surgery on my foot and I would be taking a long time to recover and I would not be able to do photography during that time. My surgery on my foot was to fix a dislocated Tendon that was completely flat and to remove an extra muscle in the foot.I'm still recovering since I still have a pain in my foot from the surgery and my foot still gets really tight. It took me awhile to learn to walk correctly again by having Physical Therapy... continue reading
