A week ago I decided to get some images of the fountains at the Plaça de Catalunya the most popular square of the capital of Catalonia my tiny country which is on it´s way struggling for independence.As it was raining but still a rather bright day I tried my new neutral density filter to get long exposure images, the results were not bad but later on during the evening, when the fountains were illuminated in purple colors, I went back to try my luck again. I enjoy taking architecture shots while I travel and around my home town. I prefer shooting more recognisable/iconic buildings than generic however enjoy whatever is available and interesting at the time.One aspect I have struggled with, however am improving, is getting lines square, not including lens distortion or the angle between the film plane and subject, just plain horizon parallel to frame edge and getting verticals to vertical.
