I'm not sure if the buyer will ever read this, but I'd like to say a special thank you you for purchasing one of my images with the SR-EL license. The picture was taken during a cycling trip from Kota Kinabalu to Kuching. I remember exactly when it was taken, mostly because of the sheer amount of blood lost to mosquitos! It was around 4 in the morning when the electricity went out at the beach cabin I was staying in for the night, and all of the mosquito killing and warding off measures were rendered... continue reading
Business trips mean: Hard work, overtime and only a little bit free time.My trip from Germany to Redmond/Seattle, USA, last December wasn't an exception. But we had luck: Weekends were free, Thanks Giving Day and Black Friday, too. And I had even more luck: My colleague with whom I shared a car is a hobby photographer, too. Not as heavily equipped as I but with enough patience for my passion to make stock oriented photos.Seattle is a very beautiful town - as long as it doesn't rain. It's... continue reading
I visited Israel! +1 country in my 'been there seen that' list) I really liked it! (of course the rigorous security in the airport was a little bit too much.. but if you are surrounded by countries that pretty much are your enemies what other choices you have..).I was born in a Christian family, so I remember Bible stories pretty good, though I'm more of an atheist. And when you get there you feel very strange, because past mixes with present, stories with realty. It's like an extended reality... continue reading

I have been around some places in my life, and I was also visiting some few of the best deserts in the world. Some people don't like the desert because it's dry and hot (and cold at night). Some people prefer green tropical views or snow peaks with azure lagoons. But let me tell you one thing - The desert is a wonderful place for photos and a great place to discover. I'm lucky enough to live in a country where you can drive 2 hours, and you find yourself in an amazing desert - The Negev and the... continue reading
