To be honest, I did not get the opportunity to upload the best of my images on Dreamstime due to lost data in the early 2000s. What I created most when I was learning were, surreal dreamscapes. I was in love with them and while picking up my tablet, the only thing I would like to paint. Since then a more work oriented approach took over, but let me give you an insight into what i feel will help you Make a Surreal "Inception-Like" Dreamscape. Before we dive into the tools and the tips, let... continue reading

I once got an hourglass from my girlfriend on one of those commemorative dates. The hourglass was small, simple, fragile, but beautiful. At the time I was surprised to be gifted a decorative item, I didn’t really expect it, but I found it interesting and I liked it. I put it in my bookshelf to beautify and compose that scenery of words. It stayed there always reminding me that the time was passing and I was letting the books accumulate dust, lol.But on a certain day I was bored at home... continue reading
My sister started studying in China in 2012 and I had the opportunity to visit her multiple times during her stay there. I always stayed for about a month each time so I can experience closely the culture, people and what interested me most as a photographer - life on the street. I ditched my DSLR just before my first trip to China for a mirrorless fixed-lens Fuji camera in pursuit of rediscovering my favorite photography genre - street photography. The lenses and the bulky camera... continue reading

Hi everyone. I have recently reached 1000 online photos. When it comes to online social platforms I am like an old man who is given a smartphone and who somehow understands that the device is doing a lot more but he simply uses it to answer calls ☺But 1000 photos is a landmark important enough (at least for me ☺) to overcome my online social disabilities and simply say: “Hi, I’m here!” This may be also my first blog post ever! Those 1000 photos were quite a journey for me. A very interesting... continue reading
I've been periodically reading DT blogs, and recently noticed some kind of obviously ranking label - wheel with a wing. My curiosity made me click on it and so I discovered the game (or a training tool) of the Stock Rank.I could confess, though my rating is till low and I don't understand reasons why one image sells much better then another in about half of the cases, it's still proven to be very, very useful. I've already learned couple of unbeatable image constitutions, giving you invariably... continue reading

As I browse through this site and try to improve my skills in stock photography, I realize a lot of the most popular photos are not really photos at all.But rather a concept that was converted into a photo by combining a few photos together in photo editing software. These photos generally have a big impact even viewing in thumbnail size and are "Surreal"Below are some of what I'm mentioning.Surrealism is defined as from dictionary.com "aof art and literature developed principally in... continue reading
