The Harmandir Sahib (or Hari Mandir) in Amritsar, Punjab, is the holiest shrine in Sikhism. Previously (and still more commonly) known as the Golden Temple, it was officially renamed Harmandir Sahib in March 2005.I must recommend , visitor should pay their homage to golden temple if they ever travel through punjab ,especially at night. Cave Temple

There are many famous Cave Temple around in my living town, Ipoh in Malaysia.   Here is one of the famous cave temple - KWAN YIN TONG, is a smaller temple alongside the main road heading south. There are rows of about 75 Kwan Yin (Goddess of Mercy) statues visible from the road. And more recently many more statues have been added and landscaping and gardening done, in an effort to attract more visitors. continue reading

Historic landmark in the foothills of Himalaya- Ancient Temple at Baijnath, Himachal, India.This temple is a very famous temple and lot of people come here from distant places to worship Hindu God Shiva. The temple is a very old one, it was created on 1204 A.D. by two local merchants named Ahuka and Manyuka, there was a small temple already at that place from age of Ramayana, orginially it is believed to be created by Ravana.
