I always dreamed someday I would be on the cover of National Geographic. So when I saw my favorite magazine promote an online tool to create a “mock” magazine using my very own image – I knew I would finally be able to realize that dream. And while it may only be a spoof magazine cover, it sure gave me a thrill to see it, and I pranked quite a few of my friends with it as well! I wanted to be able to share that feeling with others, so if NatGeo is your dream publication as well, try their free... continue reading

We all know that technology is an integral part of our life today. It has greatly simplified and improved our lives and has affected not only the communications sphere but also the medical, scientific and school fields, up to military grade applications. The use of the computer has now become indispensable in every field of work, but while until recently the computer was the only technological means capable of performing certain actions, today, in everyday life, it can often be replaced by a tablet... continue reading

This is scythe. This tool most often used for cutting grass, as well as grain crops (rye, wheat, oats). I'm not using blender3d just for 3d modeling and rendering my objects.Sometimes I create 3d animations with particle effects, or create some turntable 3d animations of my 3d models. Blender3d is awesome software for modeling, but there are also awesome tools for video compositing. So for example I can create motion blur and dof effects and enhance my videos with rgb curves or by mixing different nodes. By experimenting with different effects I can get happy accidentresults.Below you can see some... continue reading

These days we are bombarded with all kinds of technology and we tend to strive for the most professional cameras thinking that will take good pictures without our contribution. Here you will find a link to article talking about.LINK article continue reading

As a photographer, you always get to encounter situations that are worth capturing but the light is extremely unfavorable. If you have a tripod, you are good to go. But that doesn't always help. Recently while trying to make an HDR of a church interior, I wasn't allowed to set up the tripod because it would obstruct flow of tourists. The church was beautiful and I wanted an HDR, whatever happens. So I had to step up ISO to 1600 (still got a shutter speed of around 1/13 only). Thanks to Canon's outstanding... continue reading

Hi Dreamers! In a recent discussion in this thread about cropped vs non-cropped pictures of people and such, it appeared that some buyers do not realize that they can "legally" contact contributors, i.e. the authors of those images they want non-cropped versions of. I thought it is an important piece of info deserving a blog article. There are two ways of contacting a contributor.1. You can contact us via admins, i.e. via the DT contact form. Send them the details of your request about... continue reading
