This is my first week with Dreamstime. I am an enthusiastic amatuer and by way of introduction to the site I thought I would write a quick article for those like myself who are just starting out.I understand there are many other blogs about' Finding your Niche' but I would wish to air my personal views and hopefully relieve someone from anxiety attacks! There may come a day when a photographer starts to think about his or her 'Niche'Now it's not immoral and you won’t go to... continue reading

I found a new calling as of late and it has been art, creating pattern designs to be exact and I would like to share some tips and techniques that I have discovered by making these designs. One thing I have noticed is that buyers and designers usually like having control of what to do with the design, so instead of making a whole chart pattern on one image I design to make one large design so they have more freedom on how they want to use the illustration.Second tip I would like to share is paying... continue reading
A gift shop or souvenir gift shop is a store primarily selling souvenirs relating to a particular topic or theme. The items sold often include objects made from glass, stuffed animals, handmade art works and other souvenirs. Gift shops are normally found in shopping centers and ancient areas visited by many tourists. Hotels, ancient cities and shopping malls in various parts of the world often feature a gift shop in which sold items relating to venue or other objects carrying unique and special form.... continue reading
I don’t have many downloads to make a serious statistics, but so far my best images are the unique ones. I started with painting. My paintings are pure exploration of world of colors and shapes, exploration of my inner world, my emotions and sensations. They all are the abstract paintings. But I wasn't satisfied. Somehow, I felt it wasn't showing what I wanted to express. So I experimented with my camera. I stared to make macro shots of specific parts of paintings and one painting could... continue reading
For many photographers, the hardest part of a photographic project is settling on an idea. Fine art photography isn't so much about snapping as many photos as you can in the hope that you get the perfect shot. Instead, a good project takes lots of time, thought and research. Those three things are all part of the “creative process.” Want to learn more? I'll show you my basic creative process so that you can learn how to turn those half-formed ideas into works of art.It Starts with... continue reading

What makes a famous photographer famous? It’s not the gear he uses, and it’s normally not a single image, either. Most of the greatest photographers have a certain style that makes their images immediately recognizable. Style is the reason why you can pick an Ansel Adams landscape out from a thousand others. Style makes you unique, it’s an extension of your personality and it’s what sets you apart from everyone else. What Style is NotThere are many misconceptions about... continue reading
That is the million dollar question and albeit not an easy one to answer. It has been a while since I last wrote a blog article.I am not one to write about stuff that does not provide other contributors with useful information, suggestions or tips.I have spent the last year in Shanghai China and have used this opportunity to increase my portfolio with a number of pictures from Asia. As we all have gone through a change in the way we take pictures from an artistic perspective to... continue reading
Sometimes each of us needs a place to escape... Just to stay in peace and tranquility, with as less people and noise around as possible. Some choose challenging tracking in the mountains Others - kayak in a powerful river current... There are those, for whom there is nothing like a small house lost somewhere in the forest... Let me draw your attention to another kind of paradise of peace and tranquility - the world famous corner on the Earth, called the Dead Sea. Here you can... continue reading
So Ive been around the world, and seen flowers from Asia, America, Europe, Africa, and the list goes on and on. I have never found a flower as cool as the Lotus! It is an accent plant that can survive thousands of years as it has the rare ability to lie in stasis or hibernation per say, and come to life many years later. Another cool fact I learned about this flower, is that is controls its flowers temperature by regulating water from the lily in an attempt to draw insect that pollinate. Thats pretty... continue reading
