Hi everyone,I'm a new stock photography contributor and would like to reach out to other contributors, designers and users of stock photography. I enjoy traveling and photographing as I go. I never really had any idea that I could make money on my photos. It's exciting to think I could sell and I have read as much as I can to learn more about stock. My current goal is to upload my photos but also to keep learning as I go. I now have about 100 photos in Dreamstime and I hope to contribute more.... continue reading

This week I reached a total of 500 uploads. I am extremely proud of that. As an amateur photographer it is very rewarding to meet the high quality criteria of a professional organization like Dreamstime. It is rewarding to get your pictures accepted and even more rewarding to sell them.By reading and practicing a lot, by participating in the Dreamstime community, and by trying to match my own ambitions and the preferences of the buyers, I have learned a lot. In the first year my acceptance rate... continue reading

It has helped me improve in my portrait business. It was a pleasant surprise to have this image make Editor’s Choice. It is my grandson born... continue reading
Hello DreamstimersIt’s been a little while since I blogged about anything but in my last blog I mentioned about my benchmark was to have 150 images online by the end of the year. This will allow us to see how far we've actually come, if not in picture quality then in tagging and naming (which is just as important in order to get hits)! Now, I advice you all to do this and be proud of what you've accomplished - regardless of how many sales you've reached. Here are some of my very first... continue reading
