Recently I had an opportunity of visiting Kaas plateau which is well known for the variety of wild flowers blooming during August-September every year and turning it into a Valley of Flowers.It has been declared as Biodiversity World Heritage Site by UNESCO. A beautiful view of the Blue Lake in Aosta-Valley in the italian alps.Lake Bleu or Lake Blue as it is called is a mile up the road prior to Breuil-Cervinia.This lake has 1918 meter of altitude, having alpine vegetation colored in autumn foliage.
