Financial Times recommends visiting a Romanian village

Dear photographers,Several days ago I wrote a small piece about how CNN was recommending Romania as a worthy tourist attraction in 2016. The reputed newspaper Financial Times does the same and more specifically recommends a small village in Romania called Magura, a traditional village where civilization blends in great manner with an archaic lifestyle. The journalist Arabella McIntyre-Brown chose to live in Magura because this is where is instantly felt like home upon her first visit in Romania... continue reading

Visiting America's National Parks

The summer months are upon us.For many that means thoughts are turning to where to travel for the summer holiday.Of course when you're retired, every month is a new opportunity to travel. That's a good thing, because my bucket list - you know, that list of places to see before you kick the bucket - keeps getting longer even while my time left to see them keeps getting shorter.Regardless of where you call home, you should add America's National Parks to your personal bucket... continue reading

Hyderabad a city worth visiting ... Some ideas

Encounters of amazing diversity and great experiences featured in a recent couple of trips to Hyderabad in India. I traveled there on both occasions for work and stayed at an amazing hotel in the IT zone called Mindspace. The office was a short walk from the hotel and eating places were close.During my first trip I was fortunate to have a colleague show me an amazing site called Charminar at sunrise in the downtown area. Charminar was build in 1591 and means 4 towers when translated,... continue reading

I love making lists and I hope you enjoy reading them. One of the main reason for visiting Switzerland is the beautiful mountains scenery. In winter, the snowy landscape takes on a special glow and everywhere here is simply spectacular. While many things have been said about famous winter resorts in Switzerland like Zermatt, Grindelwald, Venier and San Moritz, let's focus on somewhere much overlooked - Saas Fee.Saas Fee - The Pearl of the Alps - is located in the Valais region. 1800 metres... continue reading

Visiting London in July to see Michael Jackson

I am too excited about the recent announcements by Michael Jackson about his comeback concerts. I had missed the opportunity to see my idol live in India when he had the HIStory concerts going on, since I was a kid. My parents found it very costly and risky to send me to the concerts at that time. But then as a child as a fan by desire to see my idol live has been eating me. It started harassing me more since I entered this field of entertainment where I do my job as a singer, composer and songwriter.... continue reading

A Good Place Worth Visiting in Texas

Texas Capitol Building is a good place worth visiting. It is one of the landmarks of Austin, Texas. It is very convenient for me to get there. I can see its dome from my workplace. It's just 5 minutes by driving to visitor center. The parking is free within 2 hours. When I don’t have a good appetite for lunch, I bring my camera to there to take some pictures hurriedly...Although I have been there for many times, I just knew some important things about Texas Capitol Building yesterday.... continue reading

Visiting the Holy Land

With the occasion of a general assembly of a engineering association, I had the opportunity to visit the Holy Land in March this year. The first three days we spentthem in Haifa, enjoying only the views over the city from the hotels on Mont Carmel and endless meetings and seminars at Techion University. Just a few hours before of our departure we had the chance to go as down as the Baha'i temple and gardens for visiting. I was surprised to find out for the first time about the Baha'i faith and religion... continue reading
