I have been creating and managing websites since years. They were mostly related to my own work or some for clients. The two websites that I was passionately working for over the years were The Official Michael Jackson Indian Fan Club - www.clubmj.com / www.michaeljackson.in and The Official Shammi Kapoor Fan Club - www.shammikapoor.net . I was also technically managing Shammi Kapoor's own website www.junglee.org.in in where I never fiddled with the design to keep it his own. But Shammi Kapoor... continue reading

As a photographer at times we all tend to forget that all our shots revolve around a same theme or in some cases they are so diverse that its hard to find out. It is amazing to note that paintings of great artists are so unique in nature that one can guess the artist based on the style of work. The same happens in photography as well. As an amateur one tries a lot to learn. Some may call it copying and some call it inspiration. I would like to use the later word.In earlier days the inspiration... continue reading
No doubt that spotting your photos being used is something very exciting and proud of. One of my client sent me a message to invite me to his website which he put my picture on the front page. it was my first time to see my work appear on other site. continue reading
In March 2011 I published the first issue of Alberta Marketing Strategy Magazine. It is a short run (25,000 print copies) B2B print and web publication. The image in this article was used for the composite to show clients. When the client who was to be put on the cover saw this photograph he suggested that we just run with him - but he was only joking of course. Still, the advertisers loved this photograph. In Canada a guy like this fits the stereotype for a guy who knows how to get things done... continue reading

If you were going to look to start an image website, you would look to have a very large amount of bandwidth and storage as image files are very large. I would like to let you know of one site that does not provide what they say they will.iPage hosting, www.ipage.com, claim that they offer unlimited website hosting for $6.95 a month. I was considering using them for this site as it seems like a very good deal although there was one catch; I had read on another review site that the hosting was... continue reading
I typically travel to the same places these days for work however; occasionally there is a new city to explore. I have an evolving system of getting a feel for a place before arriving through pre-trip research. These days it involves a series of websites saved as favourites and a couple of other routines:* Develop a currency conversion system - normally for a few different scales - 1, 10, 100, and 1000. You can write this on a piece of paper and keep it on you but it does not take muck to... continue reading
There is no special web design category on Dreamstime, but there are many talented artists, who upload professional website and printed media templates, business card templates and so on.If a web designer wants to buy a template for a web site on Dreamstime, he can do it with regular price under Royalty-Free license. He can use the image in many web pages, but only for one client. If he wants to use it for another client, he needs to buy another RF license. He can't make the image available on... continue reading
